De Europese doelstellingen voor klimaatneutraliteit brengen heel wat uitdagingen inzake betaalbare, duurzame en betrouwbare energie met zich mee. Mogelijke oplossingen moeten de ruimte krijgen om uitgetest te worden. Zo plaatst Oceans of Energy binnenkort een drijvende zonnepaneelinstallatie op zee, nabij de Haven van Oostende. De installatie zal tests uitvoeren binnen de testzone van de Blue Accelerator. 

Op 2 juli geven we meer uitleg over het hoe en waarom en bieden we jou de mogelijkheid om vragen te stellen. Schrijf hieronder in en laat ook jouw stem horen over duurzame energie op zee!

The European goals for climate neutrality pose many challenges regarding affordable, sustainable and reliable energy. Possible solutions must be given opportunity to be tested. One of these innovative technologies is the use of floating solar panel installations at sea. Oceans of Energy will soon install such installation, near the Port of Ostend. It will conduct tests within the Blue Accelerator test zone.

On July 2nd we will explain the how and why to you in Bluebridge. Your questions regarding the test project will be answered during the Q&A session. Register below and make your voice heard about sustainable energy at sea!

  • Voor wie? Oostendse, de bredere kustgemeenschappen en betrokkenen in de zeevaart. 
    For whom? Event is aimed at local and regional stakeholders.
  • Inschrijven? deelname is gratis, maar inschrijven verplicht via onderstaand formulier tegen uiterlijk 21 juni. 
    Registration? Registration is free, but required via the form below by June 21 at the latest.
  • Bereikbaarheid? Bluebridge (Ostend Science Park) is het beste te bereiken met eigen vervoer (auto, fiets...), er is ruime parkeergelegenheid; alternatief is per taxi. 
    Accessability? Access to the Bluebridge event location is best by car, bike or taxi.
